Rite of Confirmation (ROC)

Confirmation is an essential part of Christian Initiation. In Confirmation the bishop seals us, the baptized, with the Gift of the Holy Spirit. This sacrament is intended to:

        • root us more deeply as sons and daughters of God,
        • incorporate us more firmly into Christ,
        • strengthen our bond with the Church,
        • associate us more closely with the mission of the Church, and
        • strengthen us to bear witness to the Christian faith.

Please contact the parish office (416-483-1513, stmonicatoronto@gmail.com) to register for Confirmation preparation classes.

Rite of Adult Confirmation (RAC)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the way adults come to learn about and experience the Christian life, specifically our Roman Catholic tradition, and become initiated into the life of our Church through the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. Click here for more information.

If you are a baptized Catholic but have not received the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist, please complete this RCIA registration form. We will contact you as soon as we receive the completed form to schedule your meeting with our pastor.  St. Monica's Parish offers three RCIA batches that begin in September, January, and May.  Please feel free to contact the parish office (416-483-1513, stmonicatoronto@gmail.com) for any questions or concerns.
